Create a travel prize package that appeals to families to leverage international media exposure for the release of Rise of the Guardians, drawing on themes of the movie such as winter, stunning scenery, magic and defeating the darkness.
SOLUTION
Winners travelled to snowy Lapland, home of Santa Claus and the magical Northern Lights. Spending an unforgettable night in a glass igloo, they could admire the Aurora Borealis dancing above them from the comfort and warmth of their luxury bed. They also enjoyed family-friendly activities such as a reindeer sleigh ride (just like in the film) and a snowmobile ride through the icy landscape of Jack Frost’s origins!
RESULT
The promotions generated some fantastic media coverage, with 17 promotions that ran in 13 territories around the world including large promotions with MSN in Italy and Cinemex in Mexico.
